Hello:
The sixth grade students are continuing to work hard through their Shapes and Designs unit. The green class should expect a test and project within in the following week. The seventh grade classes are working towards the end of their Comparing and Scaling unit. The gold students are to have a test next Tuesday, and then will begin their unit project. The green students finished up with their unit with their presentations of the mall project. They did an amazing job on these. They began their new unit, Accentuate the Negative. The eighth grade students are working in the beginning of their unit, Growing, Growing, Growing. This unit deals with exponential relationships. All gold students should be working towards their goal in First in Math. All green students should be working towards their goal in ALEKS. The eight grade green students need especially work hard through ALEKS as they prepare for their placement high school exams. These students will also be receiving additional resources to help prepare them. As always, I am here to help! Let me know if a student needs extra practice, and/or additional time and resources. I have plenty of each.

The eighth grade students are reaching the end of their unit, as well. They can expect a test within the next week. They are continuing to learn about the properties and characteristics of linear equations. Reminder: all students and parents have access to the Edmodo account to receive daily updates. Have a great weekend!
